Non-Fiction

Sometimes writing without imagination can be harder than writing with it. Here are some of my non-fiction publishing credits.

  • Kaleidoscope Magazine, Issue 74: The Evolution of Inclusion – This great magazine for the special needs community includes a story I wrote about my older son Zak’s 13th birthday party. At that party, one of his classmates, who happens to have cerebral palsy, is given the opportunity to be just like everyone else.
  • Living Miracles: Stories of Hope from Parents of Premature Babies – This collection of stories was gathered exactly for the reason the title implies: as a source of hope for parents of premature babies, parents who often find hope in short supply. Published in 2000 when Zak was only seven years old, this also happens to be my first print credit.
